USDA adjusted annual income calculator

Applies the Chapter 9 deductions from USDA Handbook HB-1-3555 and 7 CFR 3555.152(c), then compares the adjusted figure to the county limit you enter. Single page, no signup, no save.

Look up your county and household-size income limit on the official USDA Income Eligibility site and paste it into the limit field below. For the underlying rule text, see the full USDA loan income limits guide.

How this tool works. The math is a deterministic implementation of the deduction order in USDA HB-1-3555 Chapter 9 / 7 CFR 3555.152(c). The 3% threshold for medical and disability deductions is computed against gross household income before any other deductions, per the regulation.

The county income limit is not stored or looked up by this tool; you supply it from the USDA Income Eligibility site. Limits are updated annually and vary by household size and county. This tool does not handle property eligibility - use the official USDA Property Eligibility map for that.
